...Heyheyhey welcome to the most embarassing page on this site. I've been using the term otherkin for quite some time, since ~2019; I've been kinning for most of my life though. I dunno, i just wanna share my kins with the www. 
But... What is even is kinning? Whats an otherkin?
Otherkin are a subculture of people who identify as not entirely human. Most otherkin believe they are nonhuman in a spiritual way, or otherwise somehow non-physical, such as from reincarnation, psychology, trans-species dysphoria, or metaphor!
Simply put into my words,, kinning is like seeing something, whether it be a mythical being or just an object, and going, Not "Wow! It's just like me!", but "Wow! That IS me!". In a more special way. Kinning is very spiritual in nature. That's the way I see it anyway. I can't really put it into more words than that.
